Poco Gato is a powerful Hanoverian stallion offering breeders some of the best dressage bloodlines with the unique feature of jumping talent as well! Poco Gato has 3 pure gaits and a great attitude which is passed on through his foals. He has proven to pass height on to his foals even out of smaller mares with most offspring finishing over 16.1 hands. He is also a wonderful refining influence on heavier warmblood mares and improves movement, adding his long flowing stride. While offering a refining touch his offspring still have a large shoulder with a well set head and neck placement.
Despite his pedigree reading the who’s-who of dressage his offspring have shown to have outstanding form and bravery over fences. His foals are very calm, sensible, and love to work! Poco Gato’s offspring will be suited for any of the Olympic disciplines and hunter as well.
Poco Gato is currently in training and will be shown in the jumper and dressage rings in 2010. He has amazed us all with his ability to pick things up extremely quickly and shows a very workmanlike attitude always trying his absolute best to please.

Pedigree
Poco Gato’s sire HILLTOPS PARABOL won many championships in Germany including breeding and style jumping divisions. He was the 1991 USDF horse of the year in the 3rd level dressage and a PAN AM finalist. Parabol was the 1996 reserve champion in the BML GRAND PRIX. Poco Gato’s dam, Erin, was shown in the USDF 3rd level placing nationally. She was the CLD high point award winner. Erin was the Illinois Hunter/Jumper highpoint champion and a winner in numerous combined training novice prelim. She competed in levels 1, 2, 3 dressage and was also preparing for FEI competition.
